Posted under Welcome to Duluth Ga Homes by admin on Thursday 15 October 2009 at 2:04 pm

The origin of the name of Duluth, Georgia comes from a French captain and explorer, Daniel Greysolon Du Luth (1636-1710). Born in Saint Germain Laval, France, a small village about fifty miles from Lyons. He negotiated and signed the peace treaty with the Indians in 1679. Now home to multitudes of people from all over the world, Duluth is the second largest city in Gwinnett County.
